👟 ASICS Gel Challenger Tennis Shoes Classic: Unbeatable Performance and Timeless Style Review

I've been using it for over a month now and I'm happy with everything. The price range is what I'm willing to pay and offers the support and stability you need. I wish the shoes were a little more plush and for some reason the laces unraveled more often than I would have liked. Great design, I recommend.

Longtime ASICS fan. This model was TERRIBLE. They introduced a plastic "wingwall" to provide lateral support. When I first put it on I was pleased that I liked the width as some styles can feel a bit narrow. I walked around and shifted my weight a bit. It felt as if a river rock had caught in my boot and was pressing painfully into my leg. I am deeply disappointed, I wanted to love these shoes. I will buy pumps again.

Shoes are too tight, if you wear wide shoes you should definitely avoid this. I rarely buy wide shoes, but this one was too tight. In addition, the shoe sole rubs on the outside of the foot. Right outside if you wear the right shoes.

The shoes are very true to size. They look like they'll last quite a while like other Asics I've worn. The shoes are well broken in at the moment.

I wear this pickleball shoe and have found that the outsole lasts significantly longer than the cheaper $30 Dedicate 7 shoes I've worn before. With both types of shoes, the sole wears out much faster than the rest of the shoe. Otherwise, the fit and support of both shoes are good. Despite the higher cost, the Challenger 13 turned out to be more profitable for me.

I had to return the first pair for a half size up. I work in a sports facility and am on my feet eight hours a day and I need athletic shoes for support and comfort. So far they've been very good for both.

I love these shoes. I play a lot of pickleball and am very picky about shoes. They hold up great and give lateral support for all lateral movements. I ordered a regular one because I thought the wide ones were too wide. They are a bit tight but after gluing they loosened up a bit and now they fit perfectly. Would buy again but probably wider next time.

They were for my 15 year old son. He wears a size 12. The size was accurate. He is on the school team and wears these shoes 2-3 hours a day during training or a game. Lateral support was excellent. The insole offers sufficient additional comfort. The shoes are solid so far after 2 months of heavy use. They look sharp too!

I bought them for outdoor pickleball hard courts. I have only played with them 3 times but so far they are comfortable, light and very comfortable. Seems to be a very good shoe. If anything changes I will update this review.

I didn't want to order these shoes because I like the sock with a lot of room and they looked narrow. Also, I wasn't sure about the breathability of the material. I used ebay's return policy. The shoes fit great and the cushioning is very comfortable and my feet don't sweat too much. I play pickleball for two hours straight at 80 to 90 degrees. I used to wear training shoes for tennis and I suffered from all sorts of aches and pains. The pro suggested it and wow! Day and night. I was concerned about the stiffness and lack of cushioning but they are ok. Good cushioning and stability really make the difference.

Knowing that ASICS is tight and small in pickleball shoes, I ordered a half size up in length and just need to break in for a comfortable fit in width. All ASICS shoes I've bought have been good running shoes after wearing them to play a few times.

Comfortable quality tennis shoes. Lightweight with good grip on hard surfaces. This shoe is also available in a clay court version, so read the description carefully before buying.

These are the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever had. I bought these shoes after wearing out the ASICS Dedicate 7 shoes. I play pickleball. but I can't even use them to run. The plastic support on the outside of the shoe rests against the side of the foot. Back to the 7th and that would be my suggestion if anyone looks at them.

The shoes were uncomfortable from the start but I kept them thinking they needed breaking in. They never got better. Legs and ankles hurt after wearing.

Bought these for my boyfriend and he absolutely hates them! He said they were so uncomfortable that he couldn't wear them all day. He's tried insoles and they still don't feel right. Lack of pillow or arch support.

As per other reviews I found the size to be slightly longer than usual (size 13) but VERY narrow in width. Obviously they're trying to add some sort of stabilizing feature to the outside edge of the midfoot, but it looks like they've put a shank on the outside of the foot, making it unnecessary and uncomfortable. I have a narrow foot and use my custom made orthotics to flatten out the midfoot and get them working for now, but I don't see how they would fit someone with a normal or wide foot.

This shoe model is made of hard plastic. the "so-called” stabilization feature in the middle on the outside of the shoe. Advertised by the manufacturer with good performance, it is exactly the opposite. The plastic is so hard that the shoes don't bend well and the hard plastic presses against the foot and causes pain. After a short time, my foot swelled at the contact point. The purchase was a gift and did not reach me before the eBay return deadline. I get no reply from the manufacturer.

They are very comfortable except that they have a very high support on the outside of the foot which makes them very painful to wear and even blisters after only wearing them a few times.

My baby loves these teethers! I bought 2 of these to go to kindergarten. The teachers love them too. The clip is durable and will not leave marks on clothing.
