ASICS Gel Venture Running Shoes: Optimal Performance with Aluminum Directoire Design Review

I was hoping it would work for a pair of sneakers but it looks so cheap, the Asics line design on the sides that feels cheap, the sticker is ironed on and doesn't even match the lining.

I've only worn Asics shoes for walking, running, and hiking for over a decade. They usually fit my feet best out of all the other brands I've worn over the years. After a week on the Venture 6, I developed tendon pain in my foot and hip. Went back to my regular shoes and the pain went away. I don't know what's wrong with these shoes, but I won't be buying the Venture 6 again.

Never in my life have I struggled with smelly or sweaty feet during daily activities. This is the first pair of shoes I've come across that causes this. After a full 8 hours of office work, my socks and feet stink. The shoes are not breathable. I do not recommend. I would have sent it back but I wore it and threw away the shoe box. Please avoid this pair of shoes unless you want smelly feet.

I'm a woman wearing Asics 9.0; 7.5 Gentlemen. For men's shoes, prefer a slightly larger toe. It's light, comfortable and attractive. Use in the gym and for everyday use.

I've been buying the exact same shoes for years. The youngest couple began to break up almost immediately after promotion. Behind the rear window. Very disappointed.

Great shoes. I've worn them to work for many years. My knees are grateful. I forgot, though, that red shoes don't go well together in some cities. Be sure.

I've been wearing ASICS shoes for years and decided to try them at a cheaper price. While they work fine for a few weeks, they definitely wear out quickly. I only wore them as casual shoes, no training or running in them. I'm used to wearing quality ASICS shoes for 6-12 months, but I only had about 1-2 months before my feet started to hurt in them. Spend the extra $50 and buy better quality shoes.

Shoes are very comfortable but can become very slippery when wet. I didn't fall but I feel like I have to take my time on the wet concrete. In the winter they weren't, so I don't know how it will be from there.

This is the third pair of these shoes that I have bought for my husband in the last few years. I just click buy again when he needs a new pair. Every year and a half or so. I bought one before in case they stop making this brand. He has a wide foot, so not all shoes are comfortable for him. These worked very well

The shoes fit great! Unfortunately, your feet get very hot and sweaty, leading to blisters. Don't let the mesh toe fool you. Underneath the mesh is an impervious insulating liner. What were they thinking?!

I was very happy with these shoes. I mainly use the elliptical for cardio and the skateboards are very supportive, comfortable and keep my legs from getting numb during long workouts.

Good casual shoe, light, wide enough and breathable. The only negative is that even after two months I can still feel the edges of the insole in the arch zone, they have not taken the shape of my foot. If anything, this is a common problem on many newer Asics models.

Not a very good shoe for running or everyday use. No support. I give two stars because I like the brand. I used to buy good shoes under this brand but this shoe idea is not good.

I like a solid outsole for walking, not something trying to cushion the foot. It's like the running shoe I wore on my high school track team - 1970's - (no spikes). Really strong, snug and definitely not loose. I run 3 miles and this is the best I've found in a long time. Nike makes shoes as good as them, but they cost 5 or 6 times more than them.

The size ordered was fine, but the width was too big, which made the shoes uncomfortable. In addition, the laces are too long, which causes problems when lacing.

They fit perfectly but if you are new to Asics they are a bit small in length and width. I order them a half size larger than most other brands. Shoes look exactly as pictured. Gel-Venture 6 does not contain a heavy gel. I use them more for everyday use and go with more gel if I expect a stronger effect.
