ASICS Gel1 Shoe: Ultimate Performance in Grey, Black, and Orange for Running Enthusiasts Review

I was delighted to find highly rated Asics shoes at such a great price. I've only worn Asics GT 1000's and they were about the same and about the same price. since launch. I've had the cheapest discount running shoes a few years ago and only Asics since I started running seriously so I was surprised at the pain caused. Problem. This seems to be the standard policy when shoes are put on but is very disappointing as the shoes are causing constant pain/injury.

My husband has narrow feet. After reading the reviews we realized that these shoes run small. So instead of buying a narrow width, we bought a medium width. They fit perfectly.

The shoes are very comfortable but for the money I would expect them to last longer. After wearing it for 2 weeks it started to crack at the edges. I have attached photos so you can see.

Arrived on time. Good quality and tested on the road 2K runs twice a week and also indoors. So far so good no complaints This shoe is perfect. I love it. I walk 9 miles everyday on it, and it lasts a long time!!1.

Not outstanding, but pretty solid as a sneaker/runner, especially for the price. Lasts a good several hundred kilometers in use

I bought these shoes for training and I really like them. Very handy right out of the box. Much better than Nike. And I love the look of these shoes.

I usually wear 11.5 US but 11 US is perfect. I was hoping for a little more shock absorption. I have flat feet so arch support wasn't a big deal. All in all a good shoe for budget conscious runners.

I mainly used this shoe for sprinting and training. They are very comfortable and have great support. The only negative thing I can say is that the shoes are a bit heavier than I expected.

Worst shoes ever and I usually ALWAYS win with this brand. Of course I can't go back and I had to wear them before I realized they were terrible and didn't fit me.

I have always worn a size 10 but my feet hurt from shoe to shoe. Then my wife bought them for me. Now I wear 9.5. My legs don't hurt anymore. But they look smaller. :/

Look great and comfortable! I had to put in better arch support. My last pair's sock was larger; it's not like this. Recommend. These are good shoes for the money!

These shoes are smaller than other ASICS models. I strongly recommend ordering half a size larger. Unfortunately I can't wear them. They were so small that I actually checked to be sure I was the size I ordered. I would also like to point out that the heel support is a bit soft. I gave the product 2 stars simply because it was decent value and if I knew I would have to increase half (or even the full amount) they would probably be ok.

They fit very well straight out of the box. No hack needed. The correspondence is correct; no need for half size. Wide ankle support and a padded tongue that won't dig into the laces. Throw away those old blings and start a new journey through the green hills of summer. The laces are the right length, no need to trim the ends. I have bought these shoes before. The upper is durable and I have a habit of poking my toes through the mesh. They are solid and reinforced. My old pair looks like new. Very satisfied. This is my third pair if that tells you something.

I'm a runner who likes to try on cheap shoes that others appreciate. This is my first pair of Asics and I have tried them several times. They seemed inflexible and loud to me. I almost felt like I was walking in clown shoes (not that I've ever worn clown shoes). I decided to give them to my son as everyday shoes.
