There is nothing special about these shoes. They fit well. I took them half a size larger than usual and there was still some room, but not too much.

I bought these for my boy in the middle of wrestling season. He won the first few games but then started losing after he started wearing these shoes. He ended up winning a match during the season-ending championship, so it looks like he's overcome whatever weakness they caused. They look good and seem to last until he outgrows them.

These Asics wrestling shoes are great and the price is good too. I've worn them for many years and now my son wears them too.

I bought these for my son who is in his junior league wrestling year. I read other reviews with this type of shoes and ordered a size larger than what he wears in regular tennis shoes. You turned out great. He loves the color and they match perfectly. I will probably buy them again next year when they are too small.

I ordered these shoes for my daughter who started wrestling this year and we were more than happy when we received them. Not only did they move and bend with her, they were very comfortable and there was a good place to hide the laces so her shoes wouldn't unravel and she trip. She loves them very much :-)

son liked the shoes. Too bad 11 year old shoes grow too fast. Used them for one season but the shoes have held up well during that time. You can't go wrong with Asics wrestling shoes. The last three shoes for my son were Asics, which I have never regretted buying. It's a pity that all junior wrestling shoes are expensive - children's feet grow too fast.

These are great wrestling shoes for youngsters, just what people have come to expect from ASICS Wrestling. When I was in high school, ASICS was a popular wrestling shoe brand and that obviously hasn't changed. They were bought for my 8 year old son. They fit perfectly, look great and are very comfortable - absolutely essential for the flexibility and responsiveness needed in wrestling.

We bought Asics last year but my son let them grow by the end of wrestling season. Bought another pair from Revain and again was not disappointed. My son has a pair of Nike school boots so we just went this size and they fit great. My recommendation if you are worried about sizing you can just go to your local shoe store and try on your kid size in regular Nike shoes and then go to Amazon and order that size for their wrestling shoes. Much luck!
