The support for my plantar fasciitis is amazing.

Sizes vary between brands so you may need to return/exchange them. I have a regular trail runner in this style so I chose it for extra support on light hikes. I can't wear them for normal walking because of the protectors. Off-road, however, the support for my plantar fasciitis is amazing.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Only available in black

I love ASICS, I really like these shoes.

I needed a shoe with good arch support and a little stiffer on the sides. I love ASICS and my last 3 pairs have been Gel Exalts but needed some extra lateral support. I've tried Contend (not enough arch support) and Venture (too stiff) and this one worked well! I don't really like the yellow trim, but the shoe itself is great.

Ideal for hiking on a hilly path!

I bought these shoes for hiking the local trails they are advertised for and they are perfect! I slipped them on and immediately felt the extra grip and stability on concrete, but it was on the trails that I really saw how good these shoes are. I love her. I don't feel the danger of twisting my ankle on uneven ground like I do in running shoes. I like how they look. Not inconspicuous, but nice enough. Excellent arch support.

Pros
  • Slight Fit
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

You are not small.

Great shoes! I walk and run on concrete a lot and my feet feel much more comfortable in it and I LOVE the color design. My only complaint is that MANY people have stated that they run small and plus size. I already buy half a size bigger; 9 1/2 and bought 10. They were too big. If you already buy running shoes with margin, you can buy them in this size.

Pros
  • Great price

cool hiking shoes

cool hiking shoes. just did a 2 week hike through the italian lakes region. Part of the terrain was on rocks, leaves etc and the other part was on asphalt. This shoe was stable, held up well and my feet never hurt. I have a horrible knot in my right foot and horrible flat feet. I replaced the insole with an over the counter orthotic just in case, but I think an Asics insole would be fine. Love these shoes, plus amazing price!

So far, so good! Dear Asics

So far so good! I love Asics! I use Gel Adventure but lately they don't last as well as previous versions? I'm heavier than ever, which definitely helps. The Asics line offers very good support for those who lead active lifestyles, especially those who need support for the ankle, arch and all around. These shoes have great support. So if you're using them as an all-round training shoe, don't forget to elevate your feet to avoid twisting your ankle or knee. you should practice anyway!

Shoe Preview

This is a preview as I've only had it for about a week. I always buy 1-1/2 sizes larger than my size 6. I bought them a size 7.5 and they fit well. The mesh on top is a little stiff and hits the toe with every step where my toes flex BUT not hard enough to leave marks. I'm very prone to hot spots and blisters, but with this shoe I didn't have either. I usually go for the Gel Nimbus as they seem to absorb shock a little bit better with every step. That's my least favorite thing about Gel Scram…

very comfortable for middle aged road running

I used to have Asics but with a slightly less textured sole. I've had a lot of F. planter issues and other annoying pains in my toes, heels etc. They feel great and I don't think I could have picked a better one (plus they don't look that bad! ) . Another review said they are pretty much true to size. I agree. I have small ankles and I'm glad my heels don't swim in them. The fingers are maybe 1mm shorter :-) but they give my fins enough room to accommodate those bones. I run about 3 miles a…

Great fit, very comfortable **UPDATED REVIEW**

***I'm updating my original review which can be found below***I'm an ASICS fanatic, I have flat feet and ASICS is the only shoe that Sneakers or anything else I put on my feet that is very comfortable to wear all the time. This pair was a total flop, I had them less than 3 months and the sole started to fall off, I didn't realize it was a sole until I started stumbling and I stumbled once and fell and now I have a totally damaged one Left shoulder from the fall, it was the sole of the shoe that
