💦 Astral Hydrating Cream, 500ml Review

Smells great, agrees with 5 star reviews but had to throw it away. I read the ingredients list after receiving it and saw that it contains propyl parabens.

Bought as a temporary replacement for my regular Lotil hand lotion. Not impressed at all. Leaves very slippery and greasy stains that never fully penetrate the skin. After use, dry your hands with paper towels before touching anything. Lotil is much better in my opinion.

Now it's a thick cream, but a little bit better than others! I will continue to use it and recommend it to people with dry skin. It has a light aroma but not pungent. I add extra wrinkles in my mouth and on my forehead during the day. You need several jars so you can take it to the living room or bathroom.

This is a revised review. It went from 3 stars to 5 stars. At first I was disappointed, it seemed that it causes rashes. That. So I just used it as a great hand cream. Then the kids continued to use it even if they were prone to acne without making the acne worse. I tried it again on my face and it was very good. Love the classics and look for proven products. I found Astral Cream while in England and loved, loved, loved it - it plumps and smoothes my skin and doesn't irritate like (seemingly) millions of other products I've tried. I thought I'd have to give up and try something different when I ran out of Astral Cream in America, but I just found it at Revain and I'm so happy to be using it liberally again!

Reviews in 2014 said shipping took a couple of weeks, now (July 2017) that doesn't seem to be the case. I ordered it late Wednesday evening and received it on Saturday morning. This is a wonderful moisturizer. First I bought the small size 50ml, this time I went for 500ml and will just fill the small glass. Wonderful, creamy and really great for my aged post menopausal dry skin. I only wish I had found it sooner.

I am ordering this product for the third time. I've been using this for years. However, this last order did not come with the usual silver-like film coating to confirm proper sealing; even if it was wrapped in plastic. This is unacceptable in our time. It should be new, unused.
