    ASUS is disappointing

    Amazon offered me this as a compromise. I first got https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RH8VGG9?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details but the screen was digitally split so I couldn't use it. so i went with it. Oh boy where do I start? The sound is very bad for games. My laptop has more volume than this one. The color of the screen is really pale and doesn't suit me as a graphic designer. The biggest hurdle for me is that the monitor is not compatible with my tablet. For now I will never choose ASUSโ€ฆ

    looks like normal glass. The test consists of looking at the blue sky and comparing it to glasses.

    My son brought us a 27" Asus monitor that is supposed to reduce blue voltage, but I have this big screen on my desk that's only 17" deep. My face is less than 30 cm from the screen and I feel tense. These glasses were obviously designed for a higher price point, the packaging, storage case and cleaning cloth were excellent. I would price a pair that fit perfectly for multiples of what I paid for. One pair is slightly stronger than the other but I don't see much of a difference between them. Inโ€ฆ

    Great monitor, but bad stand

    This monitor is very good! Works great with my Mac and Xbox via HDMI, although I'd point out that a gaming headset won't work with it as there's only one audio output jack. If you're using this with an Xbox, you'll need a controller with a headphone jack or a headset adapter. The speakers sound tinny and not loud enough even at 100% volume. But they can definitely be used if you don't have anything else. I tried playing a few games through the speakers and it really wasn't that bad. But I'mโ€ฆ

    The lack of Windows certified drivers means that it shows up as "generic PnP monitor " in Windows 10.

    Decent monitor. If someone replies with a link to WHQL certified drivers that Windows accepts, I would change the rating to 4 stars. Not 5 as drivers can be found on the ASUS website.

    Not impressive even at a cheap price

    I bought this monitor for my parents computer and even the overall quality on desktop and YouTube didn't impress me. I have a ViewSonic 1080p monitor that I play on, which is also a budget monitor but is still significantly sharper and more responsive than this monitor. Overall, the quality turned out to be at a very low "1080p" level, and I'd recommend other options if you're a bit picky about the visual experience on your computer. I haven't tried playing on this monitor, but I really don'tโ€ฆ

    Outstanding picture quality for a TN panel and fast response time. I like this on my PS4 without a star because the first one had a dead pixel.

    Big and bright the best in my rating

    Bought for those who need a large screen for use with a laptop. Easy setup, picture is good. With a laptop via HDMI it works without problems. The 27 inch screen fits in place of the old 24 inch screen with a larger bezel. More screen with the same external dimensions. The colors are good and the screen is bright.

    Great general purpose monitor with one caveat.

    In general this is a good general purpose monitor. This is your permanent 1920x1080 monitor with a nice matte screen. However, colors are very strong and everything still looks good when the brightness is lowered (I use it in a darker office, for example). Additional HDMI ports and a display port are a big plus in my opinion. I'll probably rarely use them, but it's nice to have on hand if I ever need a fast connection. I wouldn't mind a DVI connection, but that gets choosy. In any case, mostโ€ฆ

    There were no problems. Easy setup. I don't know how people had such a hard time setting this up. Pretty simple, and I'm no tech guru.

    Windows 10 screen default is 60Hz, you need to manually set it to 75Hz mode.

    well i had my last asus monitor in operation for more than 5 years (22 inch). decided to buy this one (27 inch). I'm not very impressed. NO dead pixels, don't know what the pixel pitch is but it seems to be more than the advertised 0.311mm. The blue color is not as deep and rich as my other Asus monitor. and no, I don't have blue filtering, there is a backlight at the top and bottom. The default display setting for Windows is 60Hz, you need to manually set the mode to 75Hz. I'm not sure if theโ€ฆ

    First, it is mis-advertised. When they had built in speakers I figured you could at least hear the game or whatever you're playing on your monitor. I'm trying to play Gears of War 4 and I turn the volume all the way up and think it's death or something. The maximum volume corresponds to the lowest volume on your phone, radio or television.
