I bought the small ones hoping they would fit my son who wears an eight. And they fit perfectly. I think a 7/8 boy will be small. They're made of thinner material, but they'll do it because he just likes to wear them under his shorts because they look cool, ha!

They seem to give my son good support during martial arts training and BJJ No Gi tournaments. He says they're comfortable and breathable. My son has a slim build, so they dangle a little on his thighs and buttocks. Thalia was fine. I would choose one size smaller than you think you need if your kid is slim.

I bought these for my son because he likes to wear shorts in winter and they at least cover his legs. They aren't heat resistant so not meant for very cold days but he can wear them outside if he's over 40. He also wears them when he plays basketball because they aren't as hot as thermal underwear. We have them in grey, black and white and all colors. Bottom line - this is a great price for boys tights. They run to try the size.
