Not what I expected

Not quite a rash guard It's more of a sweat-wicking athletic fabric. It's not bad, but it's not what I expected when they call me a ruthless defense.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • is embarrassing

Ideal! Work in the hot sun for a week.

I bought this shirt before my trip to Hawaii. I was traveling alone and didn't have anyone to smear sunscreen on my back, so I wore it every day I went swimming. I have never had a sunburn on the body parts covered by this shirt. It was comfortable and dried quickly. So it worked as advertised.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good quality but overpriced compared to others at Revain

I liked the way it looked online and it's a good lightweight mesh material which is different from the spandex material on most similar shirts and about the size of a regular t-shirt. While others run small, but I think this company's shirts are overpriced (other brand rash guards/shorts at Revain start at $8), this shirt shouldn't cost more than $12-15, not $20 U.S. dollar.

Not made of typical rash material

We all know what a normal rash looks and feels like. It's not like this. It's lightweight, less durable and more like a regular shirt. If that's what you're looking for, then this shirt is for you. I was looking for a typical rashguard shirt. Also, I don't understand how something so flimsy and flimsy can have 50 SPF. It seems impossible.

Nice top. True to size.

Nice shirt, fits well true to size. The material is not flimsy or sticky. I expect it to be hot but I bought this to wear to the beach when I need sun protection so it should be fine. I don't know how it will hold up yet as I haven't worn or washed it yet. This fabric should be washed either by hand or in the washing machine on a very gentle short cycle. It should never be tumble dried.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Only available in white
