Those with pockets and those with a small slit and the seahorse should fit very differently - so watch what you read. I have a separate one with a seahorse. Size XL fits like a loose size 8 or a tight size 10. I will be returning them for XXL which seems crazy as I usually wear a size 10! Definitely one size bigger - MUCH bigger!

I'm 1.60m, 85kg and normally wear a size 12. These were longer and looser shorts as described. The waist was just below the navel. The only thing I didn't like was that the fly is held up with velcro and the only tie is at the top. That makes him a little more unsafe than I would like, but he's definitely not in danger of falling or anything like that. Overall, this is a good pair of shorts for swimming or other outdoor activities.

Black ATTRACO women's shorts are very different from Aqua of the same brand/description. They DO NOT have an elastic waistband at the back, so if you have a small waist, there will be a gap in the lower back. They are also at least an inch shorter and 1/2 inch smaller at the hips than celadon. I ordered medium cyan and medium black but the label on black is also very different, it says actual size 6. I usually wear size 6 but without elastic back, I will be returning them.
