It's impossible to tighten the screw with my bare hand (I tried VERY hard until the skin on my finger peeled off), so I used a zip tie to secure the lock instead. Came very well packaged and had instructions and tools for assembly. The metal is very thick and durable, looks like a good quality. It is easy to assemble, it took about 5 minutes to assemble, everything is fine. I've used it for my laptop on a standing desk I have and it doesn't wobble and holds the weight great. The design looks nicer than similar products, but it's not tall enough. It's one thing to see the dimensions and envision my tape measure laptop on them, but when it landed on my desk it wasn't ergonomic enough for my needs. This is a decent stand, but smaller than I expected. I figured I could fit my most basic keyboard underneath, but it was less than an inch or two. The height adjustment is very good, however I was a little confused by the legs.
