Noticeable difference in sound quality

I bought this to connect my laptop to an Allen & Heath Xone 96 mixer and the difference in sound quality compared to my last cable (a cable I got from some midi had lying around) was wonderful. I didn't expect the difference to be so clear. I will use these cables more often in the future.

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • is embarrassing

Fantastic Electronics

You get what you pay for. It costs money I use to connect a Yamaha MG10XU to a computer. My XLR is also a high quality cable. As a music lover, I do notice a difference in playback with studio headphones, albeit not significantly. Also, it is gold plated so it will last longer.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Great Interconnect - Computer Accessories & Peripherals

Amazing HD Sound. I should have done an AB comparison but I'm too blown away by the sound quality. Not sure how many connections and how many DACs. Music sounds great!

Pros
  • Beautiful Looks
Cons
  • Approximately

Unlocked Sound

I did a quick, non-scientific comparison of AB using a USB printer cable and this cable to play music on my Peachtree M24. Price. The music was more present and the stereo effect was much better. In my opinion a worthwhile investment if you want to hear more of your music.

Pros
  • Special Offer
Cons
  • So So

Nice cable for my MacBook Pro to Audioengine 2+ speakers.

I bought this to replace the factory USB A to USB B cable that came with my Audioengine 2+ speakers (to connect to my MacBook Per). I don't claim to have a true audiophile ear, but I fell in love with AudioQuest products after getting started with some speaker cables for my Bowers & Wilkins CM Series speakers. I think I want to be aware of having the quality of an AudioQuest cable driving a digital signal to Audioengine 2+ speakers that have a built-in digital-to-analog converter (DAC). Also…

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Audioquest is the "king " of cables.

I have 6 Retro Pioneer stereos in my house. All Audioquest Evergreen connectors. They are outstanding and sound great. It is impossible to build these systems without high quality cables.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • No Form Required

Very noticeable difference

Big difference. Switched it to a regular USB cable: Computer > V90 Dac > Yamaha HS7s. The sound is much cleaner and more detailed. I am satisfied, I have used AQ cables before and was satisfied and definitely worth upgrading my system.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Yes, a quality USB cable makes all the difference.

I'm a music lover with 25 years experience and very picky about sound. When I was thinking about upgrading my computer speakers, I asked my closest friend about it and he suggested I look into AudioQuest cables. They opened up the sound with the old speakers and phenomenal with the new ones. I am very satisfied with this product.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • For seniors

are you real? Best in Cable and Accessories

I recently ordered 3 Quest audio cables, two woods and one cinnamon. None of the boxes were factory sealed and one of the boxes even had a label advising that if the seal was broken it should not be accepted. This ribbon was placed on the box after it was opened. This aroused my suspicions. Now if you look at the forest cable, it has the word forest on one side and the USB symbol on the other. The image from the audio search has a forest and a USB icon on one side.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Some $5 cables work very well, but $20 cables cause problems. I think a lot of AudioQuest's higher tiers are wasteful and over the top, but I actually have two Forest cables because they're solidly made and I know what I'm getting. Of all the cables I've tried in the sub-$40 range, these have been the most consistent. It's true that all data sent over a USB cable is ones and zeros, but there's one big difference between OS-managed data (files, device control data, etc.) and streaming music: bug

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
