Linux for browser based security only, does not work with fprint.

The post on Revain talks about Linux compatibility but isn't very detailed so I checked it in and quickly found there was no OS login. I sent an email to the seller who replied very quickly and confirmed that only browser support for applications like FIDO, U2F, FIDO2 is available on Linux. I suggested that they revise the description to make Linux support more meaningful.

AuthTrend ATKey. Pro USB Fingerprint Reader

I love this fingerprint reader. I had to overcome some hurdles to get it working with Windows 10 but it works really well, I'm impressed. I recommend this article.

Doesn't work with Linux!

Description says it works with Linux. After trying this and it didn't work, I asked them and they told me that it works in web browsers on Linux. I have no idea if this even works because when I found out it didn't actually work with "Linux" (which is an operating system, NOT a web browser) I rolled it back before I even started.

Not recommended, exaggerated and inaccurate description, very expensive for what it does

Not used when Windows starts, only used after startup by another method, password, key code, ., enabled and working conditionally, no need to reboot, log out, sign out, switch accounts. Used only when the computer goes into sleep mode. Does not help to start Windows. The password manager only works with Chrome by enabling the extension, no extensions are included. Not useful for Firefox, Opera or other browsers. Use on another computer requires the installation of drivers and software. Theโ€ฆ

Universal Security Key & Fingerprint Reader

I was looking for a good fingerprint reader that would work with both Windows Hello and FIDO U2F for websites that support it. The published false positive and false negative rates for this reader are comparable or better than TouchID on iOS devices, which is encouraging. I already have a YubiKey, so I need a second spare key. AUTHENTREND ATKey.Pro is just the ticket. It works great with Windows Hello as well as websites that support U2F like Google, Facebook, Dropbox, etc. And since itโ€ฆ
