These are great LED lights to use as a dome or map light. It put out a nice bright white light that my standard halogen couldn't. Before these lights, my truck's cab was dimly lit and yellow 3, making it difficult to see or find anything. The only problem I had was that when installing you should only press on the tapered metal ends. I accidentally bent one but didn't break it during installation.

My lights illuminate my car! There is an obvious difference in brightness between the LED and the standard lamp. Excellent value for money and very bright. Easy installation. My only issue is they aren't big enough to fit in my vanity and trunk lights. This lamp size should have fit according to countless websites and charts, but they are just a tiny bit shorter than the body. I ordered the next size up and hope they fit like they should.

I bought these and other LED bulbs to replace the interior lights on my 2007 F-150. The replacement was easy and the light works great. The interior of my truck is brighter, the white light makes the interior much better than the yellow bulbs. You can see the difference between the color temperatures in the photo. Length 36mm from tip to tip. I have some old Necchi - BU Mira and some Supernova. Some of my cars had 38mm bulbs, but some seemed to be looking for something like 37mm. To replace the longer bulbs, I put a 6-32 Philips pan head screw in the hole. Vessel head inwards. This compensated for the new lamp's tip length mismatch in the cruciform layout of the Philips head. It was too much for other machines on which I just used a small shim to make up for the lesser difference.
