👗 Solid Maxi Skirt for Regular to Plus Size Women - Azules Rayon Span Review

I have the worst maxi I have ever bought! At the top of the skirt I ended with an elastic band and where it folds it looks like there isn't enough fabric so I sewed on a piece to finish it off. I am attaching a picture so you can see what I mean.

I bought two of these skirts at the same time for one order. And these are two different brands. One has a seam on the back of the skirt and the other has a seam on each side. Azules tagged stuff is definitely way better than Olivia K tagged stuff. Frustratingly contradictory.

I was looking for the perfect maxi skirt and this is what I was looking for. There were three criteria. 1) length, 2) not clingy, 3) comfortable. I bought the XL in turquoise. I'm 5ft 10", inseam 34", size 12-14. In order for the thing to be floor length, I need to drop the waist a bit so the line of the skirt goes along the hip flexors. It was worth it. This skirt is so sheer it shows every little dimple in the thigh. It just didn't flatter me, which I find difficult in a maxi dress, but bad material obviously does. Strange design. Turns out big. It had oddly placed seams and even sewn-in hips. Since I'm not a big hippie and don't have a big butt either, it just didn't fit. First off, my 5 star rating is only for certain colors, dark blue and dark gray. I would only give the black one 4 stars - please read on. I ordered several of these skirts in different colors.
