We bought for our granddaughter. It seems to hit or miss to get the tone when the strings are played when any of the music modes are on, and it plays more when the strings are pressed than when they are played. I counted a whopping 35 seconds of delay from plucking the string to hearing the note. Is this considered normal? The blue button music seems to work but has nothing to do with the strings. I was looking for something that would play the notes as she plucked the strings. May return.

I'm writing this review so no one is as disappointed as I am. I bought this for my granddaughter's first birthday and I would be embarrassed to give it to her. Great toy. My son has a small Einstein piano that we love. Every time we went to Barnes and the Nobles he would find this ukulele and call it his (he thinks it's a guitar, that's why we call it that) and try to open the box.
