A Must-Have for Serious Climbers

The Backcountry Access Shaxe Tech Shovel is the ultimate tool for anyone whether you're a professional climber or just enjoy the OUTDOORS. The sturdy design ensures that it can handle any situation, and the integrated axe is a fantastic feature that comes in handy more often than you would expect. The lightweight and compact design make it easy to carry with you anywhere you go. The only con is that it's a bit pricey, but it`s worth the investment for anyone who takes their sports and outdoors…

Pros
  • Durable construction and versatile design.
Cons
  • May require some initial training to fully utilize all its features.

Disappointing Climbing Shovel

Its not worth the price .While the shovel is compact and lightweight, the blade is too small and flimsy for serious outdoor activities. It's better suited for basic gardening than for serious sports and outdoors use..

Pros
  • Can be used as both a shovel and an ice axe, making it a versatile tool for backcountry activities such as mountaineering and snowboarding.
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

Love this combo for snow sports

Love this combo. Took it on two backcountry trips and AIARE 1 for avalanche training. Fits perfectly in my backpack, easy to set up and take down, strong and light. You don't need to carry a separate shovel and axe. Great job BCA! It's now a staple in my packaging.

Pros
  • Blade/Handle Material: 6061 T6 Aluminum
Cons
  • Requires Socket
