Bought for toys for my kid. It looks very nice, although it gets dented very easily, so I don't recommend it for hard objects or kids who handle things roughly. I had this item a year before the internal latch holding the lid broke where it was screwed on. Otherwise, it looks like it's not heavily used yet.

Can't wait to buy another one. bought it when my kids plastic bag broke, my kid saw the item and put it together in 30 minutes. It would be less if I didn't have helping little hands. I wish there was a bit for the bottom structure but for now I love it and want another one for my little girl which I will most likely turn into a Chest of Hope

I like the toy chest. Easy to assemble by yourself. The only thing I don't like is that he doesn't think much about the floor so he's going to break. The weight of the toy is okay, but if my child tries to climb in like kids do, it will likely break. Another thing is that I love it. My daughter is one year old and she easily opens and closes it herself and hasn't hurt her fingers at all. Good security.

I ONLY give 1 star because it was delivered quickly. That's all! This toy box is made from cheap materials that were badly damaged when it arrived. The wood doesn't even match the colors! The lid does not close completely and the safety lock function does not work properly. If I saw it in a store I would never buy it let alone pay more than $20 for it. Very disappointed!

This replaced some of the sterilite bags we had in our toy closet. This is for my boys and they are young and destructive. Since Christmas, about 3 months, it has proven its durability. You have to know them to understand how destructive they are. I think this toy box will last if it lasts that long and doesn't break. We plan to buy another one so every boy has one. I won't open a can of worms just yet. hoping for the best.

I bought this barrel chest as a toy chest for my son for Christmas. So far, so good. It was very easy to assemble. It only took me about 30 minutes. The only thing I have/problem is that the bottom of the chest sags using this piece of wood as the base of the chest. I believe that over time it breaks and the toys fail. But then again, you get what you pay for, so I can't complain too much. At the end of the day it was a lovely gift for my son and he loves it!
