🚴 BALEAF Men's Winter Cycling Pants: Stay Warm and Protected during Cold-Weather Cycling and Running Review

I like these pants but I don't like the material. I have confirmed that they give me a rash every time I wear them. Shame because I really like Baleaf products. There is a shirt, sweatpants and very happy with them. Without the answer they would have been rated 4 or 5 stars. Oh notice I have NEVER had a rash in 52 years except poison ivy.

Sometimes it's hot, sometimes it's cold. And it doesn't let any air through at all. When I start riding at a moderate pace these things get too hot so I start to sweat. It's about 30-35 F. Then when I travel, the intensity of my workout decreases and if I sweat too early I get cold. Ashamed? I also. These things don't breathe at all, so they don't absorb moisture. The bottom line is these things don't take heat well and aren't meant for cycling.

Bottom line, it's good, but not great. Well made and looks nice. But. They don't let air through, they're windproof, if they have wicking properties then they're minimal. I just completed 22 miles that started at 38F and ended at 48F. When I took them off they were wet inside. Another thing I don't like is the horizontal seam just above the knees. It sucks when walking but was good for cycling. These pants will last until spring, but they won't be my cycling pants in the future. They will have…

I'm a big fan of these BALEAF men's windproof cycling shorts. I wore them on several morning rides in 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit. Pants kept me warm. They are great at blocking the wind. These pants are surprisingly well tailored considering their affordable price. They're great at blocking the wind during my bike rides and I've ridden them in temperatures as high as 30F and they've kept me warm. The fleece lining is thin but effective. These aren't the most breathable pants and they don't have zips or vents to let in more air when needed. As such they tend to sweat towards the end of my ride and they take a very long time to dry. Great comfortable pants. Wide at the waist and seat and designed to be worn over padded cycling shorts. I'm 6' 192 lbs, waist 36-38" depending on the season (I gain weight in winter). I read the reviews and wasn't sure whether to go with the medium or large. They didn't stock a large size so I bought a medium size and here are some measurements to help the next person. I will include hip measurements for ladies. Unstretched waist 29" (max stretch 40" - and it pinches).
