The dimensions given differ considerably from the actual ones. 37.5 x 17.5 x 20 is actually 36.5 x 16.5 x 18.5. That might not sound like a lot — a 1 to 1.5 inch difference — but when you multiply it by the entire chair, it's a lot. and this makes the chair look like that of a child. The stool looks nice and turns well, although the rounded edge of the seat is not very comfortable. All 4 stools have tears in the upper back above and below the padded back. The stools seem to be of very poor quality and when I activated a return request I was surprised that there were no return options. 4 stools were shipped 34 days ago and assembled less than 3 weeks ago! Very pretty stools. They are obviously made in China so not very good quality but decent enough. They are comfortable and durable. The bad situation I have is that I bought 9 and after building 4 of them with no problems, I opened 3 in a row that were factory assembled incorrectly. There is a stringer on the back that was installed upside down. They are slanted so deeply in the shape of the back that there is a large noticeable gap. One was completely separated from behind. I have 1 replacement

These chairs were dispatched quickly and arrived well packaged to avoid damage in transit.
