Description of BAND Purpose AE4259 Stainless Diameter

Roll of stainless steel banding that can be cut into straps to bundle materials to a pallet or platform for shipping, or to secure other items. Made of 316 stainless steel, also known as marine-grade stainless steel, which is resistant to rust, pitting, chloride, and corrosion. Holes enable strapping to be secured with bolt or other fastener (sold separately). 3/100" thickness allows strapping to be bent snugly around the load or object. Measures 82-1/2 ft. long, 0.49" wide, and 3/100" thick and weighs 3 lb.; each fastening hole measures 3/16" in diameter.

Rust-prone Strapping - Don't Bother

Using this product, our team found that the supposed stainless steel is prone to rusting, rendering it useless for long-term storage or shipment... The price may seem affordable at first, but the quality is ultimately lacking..

Worth the money if you need strength and material to withstand salt water.

Slightly more expensive, but definitely worth the money for saltwater use. Easy to measure, cut and install. No rust in 3 months. I use harness to support multiple outside items. We live on a saltwater canal and most metals corrode within a few months.
