This item cannot be used as an adult face mask. I'm not a tall woman, but it's almost tight before I pull it up. I tightened it up pretty tight, but so tight I can't leave it on for more than a few seconds. I can't breathe, the hot air just fogs up my glasses and stays in the cover. This is a Well Made in USA Double Layer Neck Gaiter. For other purposes it probably works fine. For social distancing, buy something else. Without anything else to hold it in place (like a loose rubber band), it slips off your nose and ears. You can pull it over your head and it will stay, but it's really dumb. Also, the material falls further back into the mouth. I wanted to try and now we know. I leave it for winter walks.
