It's a trick, raise your hands and your belly will light up and she will sing. This is the kind of barbie I would play with one day and then leave lol. My girls are 3 and 5 so they will have more fun. I bought both singing barbies to keep the girls from fighting. Older girls who are interested in DIY and deeper play may not like this doll as much as younger girls.
