Took them out of the box and put them in the washer and dryer on the gentle cycle and now they look like they are 10 years old. I can't believe how bumpy and rough this stuff is now. Terrible! Do not buy.

Hello, I usually buy flannel from this store in Maine but I had a gift card so I gave this a try. The price is lower, and after washing it and putting it on a pillow, I didn't notice any difference. Even the color was the same! They give you a cute little bag with pillowcases in it, you're cute and I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for. I definitely recommend them and when it comes time for new flannel sheets I will buy these. Greetings Roy

I don't want to use them, they are so fluffy. I always wash fabrics before using them as they are treated with chemicals that often irritate my eczema prone skin. This is CRAZY LINTY. Looked and felt great before washing. After a single wash and machine dry they are so fluffy they look like old ones, the fibers are simply shed and the balls of lint are covered. The bulleted list specifically states (or will state if removed after this review) that these pillowcases have an envelope. This means the open end of the pillowcase must have a flap covering the end of the pillow so it fits inside the pillowcase and doesn't slip out. I'm not sure if the company means "envelope" but that's what they always had in mind when it came to pillowcases. I have large pillows (set of 2) and they are HUGE. They were vacuum-shrink packed, which made them look very thin; However, the moment I removed the shrink wrap, the pillows grew before my eyes.
