💧 Barker Manufacturing Company 11917 26 Gal. Water Tank Kit: Reliable and Convenient Water Storage Solution Review

I've been traveling across the US in my van and this thing is a huge tank and never had a problem. As a lone backpacker, I rarely had to refill.

The key reason I bought this tank over others for my purpose was the centrally located gas station. As you can see from the photo of the tank I received, it sits in a corner. I wouldn't have bought it if I hadn't been misled by the seller's picture.

Get what you pay for, that's what I say! I've seen people complain about a lot, but for me this tank works great. Use it when my class A lands in areas where there is no running water. Use my flat tow to pump water from the source after connecting the pump to easily fill the Class A tank. Perfect!

I would love that but when I ordered the inlet was in the middle of the top of the tank. The tank I received had an inlet in the top left corner and didn't work with my limited custom seat. Revain/seller is fantastic, returned with no problems. I packed and UPS picked up at my door / card credit = no problem

UPDATE: Do not buy, mine arrived deformed and very dirty inside and out. It's also badly scratched, and whoever installed the plugs has glue smeared all over it. On the other hand, the hoses and connectors were neatly packed in a sealed bag. I will be uploading photos soon, 100% is not $177.00 plus $40 shipping. * The white finned tube that comes with the kit leaks like crazy and can't be bent without being ripped in half.

Do not use the hose provided AFTER the water pump! Doesn't withstand any pressure. Ours immediately ballooned like a stuffed sausage and almost burst, we had to go to Home Depot and buy a house of the same size but with reinforced braided vinyl tubing for strength. The tank we used was 50psi with the North Tool water pump and held the pressure with no issues. The manufacturer must retrofit the supplied hose shown in the figure.
