Bought these 2 for my elderly parents as my wife and I have had them for a year or two. I wanted them to have a more secure way of using their phone to get directions while driving as they currently just put their phone in the cup holder. My father has already installed and used it with no problems. They hold up great as my wife and I have been using them for over a year now and are a great way to keep the phone up, secure and visible when using it to find direction.

These Beam phone holders look nice but have some issues with a big phone. The side mounts don't curve as much as some other brands so my phone almost always fell out. Also, it felt short, so larger phones could tip over. I think this model is best for smaller phones. If you have a 6 inch screen, you may run into problems. Fits securely in the horizontal vents of my 10th Gen Honda Civic. The phone is very firmly fixed and stays on bumps and sharp turns. I have a large phone (iPhone 11 pro max) with a thin leather case and it fits perfectly with plenty of room. I bought this to replace the magnetic holder because my phone kept crashing and I was afraid it would break. This works well. I have a "pop it" holder on the back of the phone case which makes the phone holder a little less secure. It still holds the phone but holds it securely (where it can't be pulled out) unless Pop-It is installed. It holds the angle you set for the phone well. The button on the back for releasing the phone is practical. But the bleed clamp is a little weak. It will keep it in place while moving. However, it pulls out of the vent easier than expected.
