Stylish Full Blue Chenille Bedspread by Beatrice Home Fashions – Channel Quilt Design Review

It was exactly what I wanted. It's big enough for the size of our adjustable king bed (which is actually 2 extra long single beds together). Every king size blanket I have is too short in width. I'm happy with the looks and light weight BUT some parts of the chenille "ribbons" are missing! I was going to return it but I've already washed it and thrown away the box so I'm keeping it to myself. I am very disappointed :(

The color is really perfect, I was nervous but personally it's nicer. The TPO is soft but I would call it terry rather than chenille, the underside is rough and looks more like cotton twill. This is perfect for the top of a duvet or top sheet, but too bulky to be your own duvet. Also, I ordered a queen and it is huge. It slopes halfway down each side, rests fully on the floor at the foot of the bed and can be pulled fully over the pillows at the head of the bed.

Suffered from Florida summers and tides. I remember using these blankets in hot weather when I was a kid. Surprisingly hard to find! Washed with lots of fabric softener, not as light as I thought, washer had trouble spinning. The fabric looks good and the stitching is good. *We have a Purple 2 bed with an adjustable base. I am very curious if it will help me sleep better at night. Also, my husband agreed. He liked the blanket that matched the robes.

I put 4 because the corners are square and not rounded. Otherwise I'm very happy with this distro. Others have complained about the size, but my king size bed is perfect for my king size adjustable bed. When I first received it, I washed it in cold water and then dried it at low temperature. We use this bedspread as a sofa cover. It works great! It has a classic look that would look great on a sofa or bed. We have them on both our full size sofa (king size bedspread) and our 2 seater chair (queen size bedspread). Another nice thing about this bedspread is that it has no chemical smell. It comes with a natural cotton scent that is barely noticeable after a wash. Keep in mind that as with any chenille, there will be a lot of lint. After a few washes, lint will stop in the dryer. I…

This particular color is a little lighter and brighter than the picture, very reminiscent of the 1940's colour. The color is much nicer than in the photo, everything ok. I took a king size so it touches the floor and covers the bed pillows. I have a traditional 18th century mahogany canopy bed with a beautiful headboard. We ordered a double bed because it fits our double/queen bed. It costs $49.99 plus free shipping. We are a king size which is ok but the 'blue' color doesn't even come close to the photo. it's more of a sky blue/turquoise (see my photos) which, to my knowledge, Beatrice doesn't sell, at least not in that style.
