Oh god - I'm tinkering - I preordered this king size - this one is flat as a pancake - I ordered just right for some houseguests and it looks so rickety on my guest bed - I packed it up for the return. Be careful - I don't know why my king is so fluffy, I have to take it to the king washing machine to wash, and it looks like a picnic blanket.

I don't like how quickly washing powder ruins a solid color - I washed this item once and it left weird marks - as did some of the others posted in these reviews. This blanket is very lightweight. It's comfortable but not warm. A bit like a synthetic sleeping bag. Thin, light and feels like a silky synthetic fabric. My biggest problem is that it's impossible to keep it wrinkle free. It's pretty embarrassing to have a crumpled blanket at home. I was impressed by how much warmer it is considering how thin (1" thick?) and light it is. When I received the comforter it seemed too small for the right size. But when I opened it I found it was vacuum packed and sealed. I bought two of these in slate grey. The first was for a double bed in an XL shared room. I bought the Twin/Twin XL size and it fits perfectly.
