This is a nice soft duvet but a bit thin: not reversible like other Sherpa duvets. Good for California, but probably too easy for the Midwest and East Coast. Not bad if the blanket is on sale or discounted.

I used this duvet for the first time last night and it was the first time I was warm in bed since winter started a few weeks ago. I wanted something light and warm, which is what this duvet offers. It also drapes well over the mattress and is neutral in color. Also, unlike many textiles made in China, it does not have an unpleasant odor. Overall this is a good buy for the money.

It is very soft and I was so excited when I opened it. Unfortunately this has resulted in my family becoming allergic (despite washing and shaking out). I really don't understand what was in it that caused it. As soon as we removed it from the room, our allergies went away. Unfortunately we had to throw it away as we don't want to cause anyone this physical discomfort. as I had previously ordered another duvet from the same company and had no problems with it.

I'm weak, I catch cold so easily (no kidding, if I had to live in Illinois I'd die - anything under 60 is torture to me). I had a really nice blanket that a friend made me in 2007 but it ended up selling out so I started looking for something else. I've stumbled across this and am always so glad I did. It's SO soft and warm. It's almost December and I only use it under a new (thin) duvet I bought and it keeps me so warm all night. And it washes/dries well too. Worth every penny.

I ordered beige, I don't remember what they called the color, but it's definitely worth noting that the tone of beige tends a little more towards pink than on the pink side, the sand/khaki side, so keep in mind that the colors may clash a bit if you want to put this duvet on a beige sofa or with beige bedding. Great duvet! This is exactly what I was hoping for. You never know when you're going to order linens. I read a lot of great reviews but I ordered sheets that people loved and was a bit embarrassed to put them on my guest bed. I don't see how this will not be a win for everyone.
