Works great as a USB-C hub. The product page doesn't explain that it doesn't work as a display port. I assumed it didn't support that feature, so personally I'm not disappointed. The product page should explain it though. The Belkin website states that this product does not support video output to monitors. Sorry, but I also give two stars. Does not work with DisplayPort and does not support power pass-through. There is no point in buying a MacBook with 4 USB-C ports. Does anyone make a USB-C pass-through power hub that also supports USB-C to DisplayPort? The only pass-through power hubs I can find only have one USB-C port and a couple of USB-A ports. Someone please build a USB-C multiport hub so we don't have to connect multiple devices!

I really like its compactness, chic design and functionality. I have a 2018 MacBook Pro that I use primarily for professional audio recording. The MBP came with 4 USB-C ports and now I need a 5th to add a USB-C audio interface. I use Belkin to power the interface and external hard drive and it works great. Just what I need for my ACER laptop with only one USB-C port. I use this to connect a USB-C card reader and an external USB-C drive at the same time. I always back up files on the go and this allows me to go straight from the card to the drive instead of having to go to the laptop drive first!
