Says 6ft but because it's twisted you can only stretch it to about 4ft before you pull an end out of anything. The rest of the product has lasted a long time with no problems.

I only opened the packaging today. Sounds good. I like that the ends are almost the size of a regular headphone jack. Facilitates use with a phone in a case. Due to the twisted cable, it is difficult to fully stretch it - it constantly twists. Maybe it will loosen up over time. In general, the purchase is satisfied.

This is the first time I'm writing a review and to me, writing a review means this product sucks. The product said 6ft and the description said "stretched to 4ft" but it actually won't stretch more than 3ft without shutting down if stretched too much. I am very dissatisfied

This piece is approximately 1 foot long. You should NEVER buy this if you intend to use it for on-head headphones because if your head is >1ft from your device's headphone jack this cable will pull on you. It can technically stretch up to 6 feet. but you will have to try a lot harder than anyone thinks reasonable. They seem decently constructed but useless. Don't buy them.

I bought this accessory cable to use primarily with an ipod in the car. Before this cable, I had one of those retractable ones that worked great. At least that's what I thought until I got this one.
