As soon as I saw it in the translucent packaging I knew it was pure silk. An orange scarf is a beautiful bold color. The size is generous to be used as pashmina or anything else. Do yourself a favor and buy this luxurious piece that will last you ten years with proper care. It was worth it!

I've had many, many scarves. I hope they will be waiting for me in the afterlife along with a huge stack of umbrellas! That's something I really don't want to lose. The silk is great (it's thin so be careful) but it's clearly well thought out from sizing to design. The colors are much nicer than online - bright and bold. So it's still available. Excellent work!

This silk imitation scarf is very suitable. If only I hadn't recently bought some quality silk scarves from my local Dillards, I might not have noticed. On the shiny side there is a subtle roughness not characteristic of silk. It's very pretty and a good imitation, but it's still an imitation, hence the price. My photos compare my navy blue polyester scarf to my new green "silk" scarf. And green rayon versus my trusty Italian silk scarves from Echo. Green clearly has more in common with poly.

This is not real silk, it's polyester. If you burn a thread of real silk, it smells like burnt hair and turns to ash. Silk thread will NOT melt if you bring it to a lighter, unlike polyester. The thread test I did (of the fabric itself because it came with lead) proves it's fake. Notice the sphere of hard melted plastic at the end. Also, after the scarf has been washed and dried (tumble dry, no heat) and tumble dried overnight, this scarf will have no creases other than the original creases…
