Arc Flash & Flame Resistant For Life - This 6.2 oz material is a soft, flame resistant cotton. They will remain arc and flame retardant regardless of the washes and wear cycles. Our face masks are NFPA 70E Compliant, CAT/HRC 2, ATPV = 8.7 cal/cm2 and meet ASTM F1506. This Cloth Face Covering meets the requirements of NFPA 2112-2018. Lightweight & Skin Safe - This FRC fire resistant fabric is safe to wear directly against your skin when at work. The flame-resistant materials used are non-allergenic and will not react with your skin. We voluntarily meet the most stringent international health codes related to formaldehyde, ammonia, arsenic, heavy metals and other toxins. It is pre-shrunk and odorless, so they are ready to wear, right out of the package. Engineered For Comfort – When we developed our arc and flame-resistant face masks, we did it with comfort in mind. Instead of using multiple layers, we use a single layer that provides protection but is breathable. It has a contoured fit, so it stays securely over your nose and chin. Instead of having an interior polyester tag rubbing your face, we used a non-flammable stamp on the outside. The seams are on the outside so you they don’t rub against your nose. Ear Loops, Not Ties – Instead of using ties that are uncomfortable, loosen and hang down, we create our FR face mask with ear loops so it is easy to put on and take off even if you are wearing a hard hat or welding helmet.
