For me, this is less of a foundation and more of a daytime mascara. I'm blonde so I find the shade enhances and defines my lashes with a natural look that suits my lifestyle (40+, working mom). BUT, if I manage to get my lashes off at the end of the day, I can layer black mascara on top for a dramatic evening look. Just a great product especially if you are blonde and don't want to look like you are wearing false lashes to a 9am meeting or at play.

I really like this mascara! Others I tried were too lumpy and unnatural looking. I was only looking for color, not thickness or extra length. It accentuates my naturally blonde lashes, which appear longer than with regular mascara. I wasn't a fan of the pointed end of the applicator and couldn't understand the purpose of this design. It just made it less accurate, so I just clipped those bristles off. It's more than double what I've ever paid for mascara, but I love the formula.
