Description of ๐Ÿ’ก Benfei 2 Pack 6-Pin to 8-Pin PCIe Adapter Cable - Efficient Power Conversion in 4 Inches

PCI EXPRESS POWER CABLE adapter connects a PCIe video card with an 8 pin PCIe connection to a power supply with only 6 pin PCIe power connections; Check that your PSU is rated to power the video graphics card. PSU UPGRADE SAVER video card to power supply cable provides an option for connecting a power supply without an 8 pin PCIe connection for GPU power. 8 PIN PCIe to 6 PIN PCIe male to female adapter cable provides a convenient solution for supplying video graphics card power with an 8 pin connector for GPU cards that require more power. STURDY GRAPHICS CARD power cable has an 8 pin male PSU PCIe connector with keyed rails and a female 6 pin PSU PCIe connector with a latch for a secure connection on each end to prevent accidental disconnections. VIDEO GRAPHICS CARD compatible with graphics cards with 8 pin PCIe connectors from popular manufacturers such as ASUS, Gigabyte, Radeon, and Sapphire.

Just what I needed

Just what I needed to use an older 6 pin header with a newer GPU. Cheap, 2 of them could have been thicker wires but more than enough for Nvidia 1660 Super.

Pros
  • Good build
Cons
  • Some nuance

New GPU Approved

I assembled and purchased a new box containing an AMD 3700X, an ASUS X570 mobile device, and a couple of Sabrent Rocket nVME M2 drives (plus other <G> items) AMD- GPU 5500XT. Dan! The PSU did not have an 8-pin PCIe connector (grunt). But I found them, ordered them, they arrived (much more than Prime promised), and that was about a week ago. Finally got around to it today and installed the 5500XT with these adapters and all was good. I'm not a gamer (in fact I avoid these silly things asโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cables shorter than other models

They work and are good value

I bought these as a temporary solution to use my current PSU with my new GPU until my ordered new PSU arrives a few weeks later. They work. They were cheap. They're short enough not to add a ton of extra cable inside the case. Would buy again if needed.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • I don't remember

Required for graphics card upgrade

Great little cable needed to upgrade your graphics card. I don't know why it's not included in the card, but it's inexpensive, easy to connect and works well.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Not trendy

The best power supply ever!

These adapters are VERY USEFUL, especially for powering newer and more advanced graphics cards that require 2 8-pin power connectors as they convert a 6-pin male connector to 2 8-pin connectors. This allows you to install more than one performance-hungry graphics card in your computer. A normal adapter needs 2 6-pin connectors to make an 8-pin connector. As long as your PSU has enough power, this will work fine. However, if your power supply doesn't have enough power, you should probably buy aโ€ฆ
