I mainly use this monitor for photo editing. It is excellent for this price range. I can't say anything about video editing because I don't use it for that. The 24 inch screen is just right for me to work with photos and create better products.

Update after a few years: The DisplayPort connection is very unreliable. Pretty good customer service, but I've changed the monitor twice and all three DisplayPort connectors have failed. I work a lot with CAD, Revit, 3D models and this gets the job done. The pixel density is excellent, the picture is clear and sharp. Combined with the Display Pilot software it's great with automatic rotation from portrait to landscape and back; among other auto-brightness features.
