Electrical outlets work well and last a long time

Several new electrical outlets were recently installed in my home. They were easy to install and worked well from the moment they were installed.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons

Looks good, easy to install

All sockets in 4 rooms replaced. BESTEN vessels look much nicer than the previous ones. They are easy to install and fit into the interior. The wall panels look a bit fragile - best not to overtighten.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Front panels do not fit.

The base itself looks good, but I gave it two stars because out of 20 replacement bezels, only 2 will fit. I don't know if it's the bushing that the spacing is wrong or the bezel, but the holes on the bezel are too far apart. I've tried flipping the lid and reaming the holes a bit, but without much fun. Let's look at the durability of the socket itself.

They are in stock and include wall plate

I was at Home Depot recently and they only had regular outlets and this square model, which I think is more stylish, was out of stock. These wall panel outlets work great and cost about 30% less than retail stores. For this price and the convenience of getting it in a day or two, I will always buy them here.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Low repairability

Check the amperage

I bought these to upgrade outlets in our finished basement. I've come this far in life not knowing that output circuits can be 15 or 20 amps and 20 amps require larger wire. I have a 20 amp circuit in this room and these jacks will not accommodate larger gauge wire. The cost of this life lesson was $7.81 plus the hassle of getting it back. don't be like me But they looked great in the box, hence five stars.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No machine

Poor overall quality

Packed in a nice box, all sockets and panels were individually wrapped. It says it's for standard outlets, but the quick connector on the back doesn't fit a standard 12GA Romex, so you have to pull and twist to attach it to the side screws. There are only 2 bolt sets, not the standard 4, so they cannot be used for more than 1 additional connection. The screws that attach the pads are flat-bottomed, meaning they aren't countersunk in the plate, and have a different thread on the exit. Once you…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some flaws
