Description of 🔌 Top-Rated BestTong Waterproof Industrial Electrical Enclosure - 100mm x 100mm x 80mm

Aluminum Junction Boxes General Electrical Metal Project Enclosure Waterproof IP66, Abrasion Resistant, Good Heat Dissipation for Indoor Outdoor. Electrical boxes are the workhorse of electrical repairs and remodels, serving as end or transition points for electrical cables. Outlets, light switches, ceiling lights, ceiling fans, and transition wires are just a few of the items that are installed in electrical boxes. Ultra-strong, fireproof, and incapable of being melted, aluminum metal boxes offer the greatest level of security for all electrical wiring applications. It is recommended that you wear gloves when working with metal boxes, Metal boxes can also be used with Romex or NM wiring if desired, though special precautions must be taken to ensure proper grounding. Also use metal boxes with interior exposed applications. Typically, electrical boxes are recessed in walls. But areas such as unfinished basements and mudrooms may not have a complete wall system that allows for the box to be enclosed by drywall. A typical installation in these cases involves attaching the exposed box directly to a masonry wall. Because the wires are also exposed, metal conduit is required

Good junction box suitable for electrical boxes

I used this junction box to mount an IP camera on top and stuff all the wires and cables I don't need into it. . He protects her well. Good rubber seal and good powder coating. Really helped clean up the look. I now have a Category 5 cable entry in the junction box and no other cables visible.

Pros
  • Electrical boxes, conduits and fittings
Cons
  • Difficult to tell

Served for Electricians

Bought this item to bury a small "memorial" underground in a special place for our family. Presumably it's waterproof (although it obviously has a time limit). The airport security naturally demanded an explanation of its purpose! Ouch! It passed, but the very small collapsible hand scoop I also took with me did NOT pass...at least not in my carry-on. :(

Pros
  • Electricians

  • Some Cons

Decent box for those who don't want knockouts

I was looking for a metal box for outdoor use. I had to drill custom sized holes and this box worked fine. ADVANTAGES: • Neat construction and metal thickness • Comes with a sealed lid. I was ready to add my own sealer. pleasant surprise • Configured for DIN rail (not used but works fine) CONS: • Not configured to accept a US ground screw. I ended up using one of the holes on the DIN rail with a 2mm or 3mm pre-thread.

Pros
  • Electro boxes
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great value product

I bought this to house the delicate electronics for the focus of a radio telescope. The box is beefy, we need thermal mass to control temperature, and it's solid. The color is great but to apply I have to scrape the paint from the inside to get a good thermal and electrical bond to the metal. A similar comment about the color between the top and bottom. The paint must peel off to ensure a solid RF connection. Lots of good base attachment options.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Not bad

Decent box for those who don't want to punch out

later. I was looking for a metal pipe for outdoor use.

Pros
  • Also use metal boxes with exposed interior appliqués. Electrical sockets are usually built into the walls. However, areas like unfinished basements and hallways may not have a full wall system to cover the crate with drywall. A typical installation in these cases is to attach the open box directly to a brick wall. Since the wires are also exposed, metal tubing
