The filter really helped keep the faucet flowing and clean. The original faucet that came with the drink dispenser, a little plastic thing, was clogged after my first batch. Even after a small surface cleaning, only a trickle flows from the nozzle. It changed the world. This filter tube is a must have for Kombucha brewers!

Purchased to upgrade a 19 liter glass beverage can with brass tap. VERY beautiful, high quality, easy to assemble and most importantly it fits perfectly in the glass. A NOTICE. I bought this to start a vessel for continuously brewing kombucha. Due to the PH level in kombucha I needed a stainless steel spigot as brass could get into the final product. Nothing happened to the glass. This faucet was recommended to me by other Kombucha producers.

My kombucha jar originally came with a plastic faucet that kept clogging and had to be taken apart to clean. This replacement is much easier to work with. I don't use the screen as the staple only covers it with a film when installed, but it's still pretty easy to clean. All I have to do is plug the inside (the silicone spatula does the trick!) and use a pipe cleaner to unclog the occasional clog.
