BF02 Tanklock Tanklocked Fitting Aprilia Review

I bought this hoping a couple of holes would match the holes in the tank on my Kawasaki Concours (C10). They did it in just a few minutes with a drill and I was able to move my bag with Givi tank lock between all three of my bikes. A NOTICE. This is only the inner metal ring for attachment, the outer plastic ring that the bag is attached to needs to be purchased separately.

Although the Givi website doesn't even list the Benelli Tornado 900 Tre, I took a chance and ordered this tank ring based on the bolt pattern. The result was a perfect match. The only thing I had to order extra was the plastic ring that the tank actually attaches to. Once I have that, it will be easy for me to switch the Givi bag between bikes. I will be ordering another one to fit my 2000 Aprilia Mille-R as it has the same bolt pattern and dimensions.

I had a Givi bag for my Moto Guzzi and wanted to use it for my 2014 Monster 1200S as well. The position of the latch at the bottom of the bag (which is adjustable) fits both bikes. This kit had a few items not needed on the Monster 1200, spacers and a protective film for the tank, and the 30mm screws provided were long enough to screw a few turns into the holes on the tank. I received 3 stainless steel 35mm pan head screws and they work great, just what I wanted.

Would have liked it better if it was powder coated metal instead of plastic. My concern is that this plastic will harden over time and crack in the sun. Also, it just mounts flush with the gas tank ring, which would be nice except it also touches the gas tank. So they give you this clear sticker so it doesn't rub against the tank. It seems like just making the mount 1mm thicker would be better. I might try installing some spacers to do just that.
