🔌 Queen Linen Biddeford Blankets Micro Mink Sherpa Electric Heated Blanket with Digital Controller Review

This is my 4th purchase of a Biddeford electric blanket in 2 years. We will switch to another brand. They are not designed to last. Two of our blankets were burned. This one doesn't connect very well. My son fell asleep watching a movie. He melted our remote control.

I grabbed a blanket, pocketed it and immediately smelled electric smoke. The controller is burned out. I'm hoping to hear from Biddeford that they will replace the cable and controller so I can start over. That sounds like something extraordinary. I've only read one review that says something like this. I see no other way to contact them other than through this verification process.

The sage green is nicer than I expected (I bought it because it was the cheapest) and it's incredibly soft! Heavy enough to spread evenly across the bed without suffocating. Having two controls operating each side of the duvet independently is great because my husband likes a warmer bed than me (we're queen sized), it costs money not to climb into an icy bed. It seems to heat up evenly! Edit: Automatic shutdown doesn't seem to work.

Update! Piece of shit! These blankets are too expensive to keep you warm for just a few months! VERY disappointed in this product. Please take my advice! Choose another brand! Now it's time to return my product, but lesson learned! Please don't just buy if you need a blanket that will only last a few months. So upset and disappointed! This came after I went to live with my daughter in Tennessee. My husband tried it first and loved it after using it on the bed as soon as it arrived. I've waited until now to review it because I wanted to see how it works. We have a king bed and it hangs about 2-3 inches from the side. The heating wire covers the top of the king bed and stays in place. We didn't have to keep pulling it up and stretching the heating wires under the bed and I hope with this feature it will last more than a year…

I am very picky about electric blankets because I live in a cold climate. I've bought quite a few electric blankets so far and this is the only one I like and I've bought 3 of them. There are so many other duvets that are cheaper but aren't very warm or take forever to heat up. This is no joke, it will warm you up in no time!
