This wallet is very thin and light. With 8 cards and 15 bills inside, it's still less than half the thickness of my empty leather wallet. I tried to lighten my bag because of shoulder problems. One of the heaviest items was my saffiano leather wallet. It was about 2-1/2 inches thick and I got tired of switching to a small cardholder every time I went out at night or wanted to carry a smaller bag. This wallet is a great solution.
