🏍️ Bikers Choice Solenoid Starter Button - Harley Big Twin 1990-2006 Review

Don't get stuck with faulty switches or relays. Mine had already paid for itself so I installed it on another bike as well.

Works great with my 1995 FLHR and is very useful when you hear the horrible click of a factory start button. I put some silicon grease on the sliding part of the button and just installed it.

Purchased when bike would not start after full charge. It was the battery, after all, but now I know I'll be lucky if the starter solenoid fails. Easiest installation, only 4 small screws. I also think it's good quality.

Arrived today. It came with chrome screws (which was nice). I had to reuse the gasket. It took about 10 minutes to get dressed. Perfect fit for my HD 2010 Ultra Limited. I would recommend. This can mean the difference between reaching your destination or trying to figure out how to fix your starter switch in the middle of a ride.

This was a very easy install (3 bolts) on a '95 FLHT. A NOTICE. Once installed, the engine can be started by a passerby who recognizes it. Keep the steering column LOCKED when parking or use a disc brake lock etc. I installed it due to intermittent glitches in the starting system that left me stranded at times. I have a custom chopper, Yaffe frame etc etc but it has a Harley-Davidson Twin Cam engine. A wiring issue was causing problems with the starter, but I routed most of the wiring inside the bars and frame. I like the simple solution so I bought this button and the problem is solved. If with this button the battery is low enough that starting the engine may be too slow to start with a normal handlebar switch (resistance from wiring, etc.), there is a chance this button will still start and boot…
