Great for ceiling fans!

I like that they are bright enough for my aging eyes to see but not so bright my pupils are throbbing! Perfect for any room you want to place them in that doesn't need a very bright light. I would describe them as a "soft cool" light. Basically the clearer, prettier color of soft, warm bulbs.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • something different

Excellent bulbs for candelabra and floor lamps

Bought these for a floor lamp with an E12 work lamp fitting. They're about 1/4 inch longer than typical E12 bulbs, which I don't see as a problem at all. I was concerned that her white top would dim the light but there was no problem. The light penetrated very well. I love the daylight color which provides natural colors at night and reduces eye strain. Definitely as bright as a regular 60W bulb.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Bigger than average candelabra lamp

I didn't realize they were bigger until I started swapping them out in my dining room. They almost didn't fit, they were so big. I had to bend one of the holders a bit to keep the bulb from touching the metal frame of the lamp. They're pretty headstrong. You need to replace the blown bulb with an identical one or replace all of them. I have them on my dimmer. They don't say they're dimmable, but I dimmed them just fine. Photos are attached. I am happy with these pears.
