They're good for parties, but if you're after a soft, hot pink for a bright room, this isn't your bulb! It's very hard to find softly glowing 25-watt lightbulbs; I don't understand why manufacturers can't do this, but low light is essential for those suffering from insomnia trying to avoid "blue" light.

I bought these lightbulbs hoping they would cheer me up. Pink is said to have a calming effect. I'm not sure how well this works, but I love these lightbulbs. They don't give you a soft pink light. They are light pink, as in pink neon lamps. More of a deep merging. I have these in a couple of night lights. They turn my tanned walls pink next to daylight lamps. The color intensifies when no other light is available and the whole room is painted in shades of pink.

I don't know what the other reviewers are complaining about the brightness of these bulbs, I found a pack of soft pink bulbs on ebay and bought them and they are almost colorless so meaningless. However, they add the perfect pink glow from the lights over the sink in my bathroom and they're great in my living room too.
