My son loves his new flying fan

Bought to turn my son's bedroom into a flying room. He wanted a fan that looked like an airplane and this fan delivered! I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of air it pushes out! I love that the remote control has multiple speeds and is super easy to use! :)

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • makes me worried

Don't waste money.

Unfortunately, this is one of those "you get what you pay for" clauses. Stand under the fan when it's on at high speed and you won't feel a thing. Blades are a very cheap material. I really want to send it back but it was such a hassle to set it up, I'm not on the site, I want to keep messing with it. Very disappointing.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old
Cons
  • speed of operation

Wobble-wobble-wobble

Like the sleek modern look, that's all. The radio is too big to mount under a low ceiling so I had to rush to mount it. It is bent and does not spin freely out of the box. Straightened as best I could. Still rocking and at top speed when a light breeze blows on it, it goes into a death wobble and has to be stopped and restarted. Also, the radio interferes with smart lights, so it had to be rewired.

Pros
  • Finally got it
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

I would reject this fan

I don't know where to start. The fan was installed by a professional electrician who had trouble installing it. The directions provided were not very good. It took about 2 hours to install and work. It's not safe, it shakes at the lowest speed, doesn't produce much air and the remote control is terrible! Speed settings are labeled 0-3; You might think that 0 means off, 1 means low, 2 means medium, and 3 means high. Just not this fan. 0 was off, 1 was high and 3 was low. Besides that. I can say…

Black and Decker - name means nothing now

Was hoping this would be a better product if you could spend a little more and buy a BnD brand - but obviously it will be from the same factory as the cheapest ones Chinese brands made . The fan blades have wafer-thin "wood" coatings that peel off as soon as the fan is installed. The motor housing arrived bent, not from delivery but from production, which took me 30 minutes to fix and there is noticeable wobble during operation. Not to mention that the dimmer control makes no sense - I strongly

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Annoying

Great price and loom

I see so many negative reviews on this product but I liked the price and the look so I bought it. hardened for her. Well, for me, out of the box, it takes maybe 20 minutes to get up and running without reading the instructions. People say there's no place for the control module, but it slides right between the ceiling and the suspension. People say the blades are flat. but the blade is actually skewed after installing a large airflow. People say you can't fit standard bulbs in a socket, I've…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Great price, quality optics, remote control, functionality and easy installation. 👌👌👌 Absolutely recommendable. Best price so far! Comparable to other models at a price three times more expensive. Modern contemporary design and clean lines. Provides the right air movement and control. I've seen discrediting reviews but they were most likely caused by transportation or installations. Ours don't wobble and work great. Will definitely buy again. We bought for $79. The seen price went up to $100

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Reliability

Installation is crazy - when you install the remote

Updated: This thing wiggles randomly and makes an annoying noise. Others have reported this so you know what you're getting. Over the years I've hung dozens of ceiling fans, fairly simple things - including this one, except for one. With a flush mount, the remote sensor - a giant plastic box - doesn't fit in the hole where it should. This feature should be built into the plug and not have some sort of box that doesn't fit all types of installations. very frustrating and I just couldn't do it…

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not the best
