I like pants that are a bit loose for long hikes and hikes. This is a great strap to keep them going all day while sweating, climbing and scrambling with a heavy backpack. He's doing his job and I can hardly tell he's there.

This belt was bought specifically for ski pants. It worked very well. Pants stay in place and don't need constant adjustment like the elastic competition. I suggest buying a long one, trimming and melting the end to make it fit. The only downside is that I wish it was thicker, but that obviously has to do with the seat belts and buckles. No deal breaker.

These are descriptions that weren't on this Revain page that I wanted to know. This strap is 1 inch thick, which is useful if you also attach your keys to the strap with a carabiner. The clasp is the same as the Black Diamond harness with a double clasp on the back. In fact, it looks just like it does on my trailer.

excellent belt. A lightweight. It lasts all day and doesn't slip. The buckle is small enough that you can't tell it's there. I had to order a size smaller. I'm a size 33 but the belt size that actually fit was small. There was about 9-10 inches of excess in the media.

Much better than similar belts I've used - Chaco, Bison. I can't find anything wrong with that. All-day comfort without slipping

It's not very clear in this photo, but the Captain is very dark blue. inches from the end. Super comfy and flat without the feeling of wearing a heavier belt but still feels very secure!
