Really great gloves

After two winters in Vermont ski coaching and 6 years living in Maine, I feel like I have the right to rate gloves! Black Diamond gloves have always been of excellent quality in my experience and I often choose them over gloves from other manufacturers. These gloves are warm but not too thick. You keep your skill. They are easy to put on and definitely waterproof. I wore them a few days ago while cleaning the car and despite being in direct contact with a lot of snow, my hands stayed completely

Pros
  • Decent job
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Amazing gloves for outdoor activities

Wonderful gloves for their purpose. They are lighter than normal ski gloves but have enough insulation to keep your hands warm up to around 15 degrees. Your palms have a rubberized form that becomes sticky/tacky at temperatures above 15 degrees. I use them for warmer days skiing, snowshoeing on colder days and of course ski mountaineering. Haven't had any watertight leaks yet and my hands only get cold after stopping at 7000ft in consistent 30+ mph winds. A little movement of the hand or body…

Pros
  • Useful not only for their intended purpose
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

Fair value for money

I used these gloves during the PNW mountaineering season. They held my hands comfortably down to around 15°F. Will likely work in colder places if you're moving. They did get a little warm while climbing, but other than that they were pretty versatile. These gloves are also quite water resistant. We constantly dipped our hands in snow (often mud) and were caught off guard by some rain, and these gloves stayed dry on the inside. They also dried very quickly, which is important on multi-day…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Negative

Excellent mid-weight glove

Excellent mid-weight glove just not as waterproof as hoped. Heavy rain or sleet gets mine wet pretty quickly. I've used them for mountaineering in the summer, hunting in the fall and skiing in the spring and as long as it's not too wet I love them for their grip and maneuverability.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Long time

I would give another star if I didn't have to fight them!

Perfect fit. as soon as I got the past opening! Seriously, getting dressed was beyond difficult. I almost gave up. But when they were on, they were great. Warm and waterproof.

Pros
  • Hold my fists
Cons
