They fit my not so small wrists comfortably. They stretch just enough to hold a ton of hair - big ponytail dreadlocks, for example. They are probably too big for children's hair unless they are unusually thick. I wash these bands in the washing machine with a small mesh bag and then reuse them. I haven't broken any yet. This bag should last me a very long time. I don't make my own face masks, but you could probably use them successfully as ear loops.

These are the best hair ties I have ever used! I don't wear my hair in a ponytail often because I get headaches from overexertion, but it feels more comfortable and allows me to pull my hair back more.

This is an addendum to the previous review. I have attached photos. I purchased this item and received it on September 15th. This is what the strips look like after a week. Every time I use them a tear or two and they stretch. I will never buy again, I want a refund. Very badly done. If I could give no stars I would. Even half a star. Stay away from them.

Very elastic. They use a piece of elastic all over instead of being twisted like other hair ties. They stay in place. They begin to stretch within a few weeks. If you lose hair ties a lot, that's great because there are so many at such great prices. If you've been using the same thing for months, it might be worth looking for something else. When they fail, they break completely, not just the elastic in the sleeve.

Arrived well sealed. The bands are thinner than the ones I've used before. I have thick hair as long as it stays on. Remember these things are not meant to last forever. Overall I am satisfied with this product.

Very good hair product. We used it by elasticizing a hair chain and attaching it to the mask so that it was secured at the back of the head. Very comfortable and good stretch. I will recommend your product to everyone.

They work well, great thickness to keep hair in place and they stretch quite well. But not for long. They lose their elasticity pretty quickly. However, I can't expect the quality I'm used to when buying so many tapes for such a low price. So on the other hand, I have enough to replace those that are too expansive to be practical.

Crappy hair ties. I have thick hair, I need about 8 pieces to actually hold my hair. And they don't even have rubber bands, I swear. I would have been better off using a frigging ribbon and tying my hair back! I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you have nine hairs on your head and never want to pin your hair up.
