It's a bit cramped, but my daughter is also quite tall for her age. But otherwise it's perfect! My daughter is dressing up as Lucille Ball for a school project this week and this dress is PERFECT. She loves this dress so much that she will wear it more often.

I am very disappointed because I received it with a damaged zipper. And you tell me to send it back. I shouldn't send it back.

My daughter loves her dress and gets lots of compliments. It has very high quality stitching, however there is no "concession" in the waist, so when it is on it is uncomfortable. (However, the proportions of her abdomen are above average.) She wears no belt. We bought her bobby socks and the white canvas shoes she wears with them. We haven't washed it yet so only time will tell how it holds up.

my daughter loves this dress. We bought this for the "I love Lucy" costume but she has worn it several times. She is tall but slim, she is 10 years old and we bought size 9-10 and she fits perfectly (including the belt).

This dress fits perfectly and the belt really makes the whole dress stand out. The only complaint would be that it creases a bit, but for the price, who really cares.

I can't help but talk about Black Butterfly kids dresses. They are perfect for my daughter due to her height and weight for her age. She's eight years old, but she's tall and has a wide chest, so only dresses from this store fit her perfectly. I'll order her another dress. Good quality fabric, well made dress. This dress is simply classy! We received so many comments about it! My girls LOVE their dresses! Fit: My oldest daughter has an athletic build, a regular size 7-8, and the dress sits on a "T" meaning it fits her so well it was almost too small (not tight, just a very flattering fit) so I didn't wash them before putting them on for our "big day" for fear they would shrink and not fit. My youngest is a green bean and is going up to a size 6 so the 5/6 fits her perfectly no problem.
